Have you ever thought of programming a preset on your XX-7 like this... to get a 1 osc synth inside your XX-7 =) Knob A - Cutoff Knob B - Resonance Knob C - Wave (use all 4 layers, and rtxfade to switch between them: - 0-31 saw, 32-63 triangle 64-95 saw 96-127 square) Knob D - Chorus Knob E - Amp A Knob F - Amp D Knob G - Amp S Knob H - Amp R Knob I - Filter A Knob J - Filter D Knob K - Filter S Knob L - Filter R Knob M - LFO --> Pitch Knob N - LFO --> Filter Knob O - LFO rate Knob P - Filter env --> Cutoff This preset can be really useful for synth sounds.

Knob D - Chorus
Knob E - Amp A
Knob F - Amp D
Knob G - Amp S
Knob H - Amp R
Knob I - Filter A
Knob J - Filter D
Knob K - Filter S
Knob L - Filter R
Knob M - LFO --> Pitch

No, there's no way to do that :( I guess that's why I had to "cheat" using many layers, and a knob to choose the layer which should be heard (one waveform for each layer) > Can you program a knob to change the wave? would be kind of cool.. > > I like the way u think > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: nifflas > To: xl7@y... > Sent: Monday, September 23, 2002 11:22 AM > Subject: [xl7] 1 osc synth 'n stuff :) (Idea for XX-7 programming) > > > Have you ever thought of programming a preset on your XX-7 like > this... to get a 1 osc synth inside your XX-7 =) > > Knob A - Cutoff > Knob B - Resonance > Knob C - Wave (use all 4 layers, and rtxfade to switch between them: - > 0-31 saw, 32-63 triangle 64-95 saw 96-127 square) > Knob D - Chorus > Knob E - Amp A > Knob F - Amp D > Knob G - Amp S > Knob H - Amp R > Knob I - Filter A > Knob J - Filter D > Knob K - Filter S > Knob L - Filter R > Knob M - LFO --> Pitch > Knob N - LFO --> Filter > Knob O - LFO rate > Knob P - Filter env --> Cutoff > > This preset can be really useful for synth sounds. > > > Yahoo!
