E-loader and midi

E-loader and midi

2001-10-05 by Mwl007@aol.com

Let me explain what I'm doing.

1. Ill create a pattern in the xl7 than use the e-loader to export the midi file.
2. Than I open it [midi file] in my sequencing program [I use sonar] and each track plays fine EXCEPT the one's with any type of arppegiation. They sound awful and distorted, nothing like they did in the xl-7. Any thoughts on how to rectify this problem? Thank you very much, any light on this issue would make my day!!!!

I just discovered something else as well. If I just open my sequencing program [sonar] the arpegaiator on the xl-7 doesn't work the same when the program isn't on? It doesn't make any sense? Thanks!

Sounds like you have a MIDI loop. I just starting your sequencer causes
stuff to go wierd, chances are it is set to soft thru. I've not used
Sonar, but I do use Pro Audio 8.0 and it always does this. In 8.0, the
parameter is in the "Tools -> Project Options" menu, where if you go to
the Midi Input tab, you can turn Echo mode to Off.
