Midi light??

I just got my mp-7 and i notice that whenever i hit one of the pads, the midi light goes on. I dont have anything connected in the midi jacks. Is this suppose to happen? just curious. thanks

Yes, it is okay. The light shows that midi is being transmitted out to the midi output. If you go into the Midi menu you can set the "KEYBOARD OUTPUTS MIDI" to off and then you will not send midi and the light will not light. Ravi ----- Original Message -----
