Is there a lag in response?

Is there a lag in response?

2001-10-05 by tokinhood@yahoo.com

Hi,
Just bought my XL-7 today at Guitar Center and it sounds totally
awesome, it blew me away. 2 hours into playing and tweakin' knobs, I
notices there were some lag time with some of the kobs. All 16 midi
slide tracks were playing full speed while I had Preset on, I pressed
the Controller Function button to toggle between Quick Edit, Prgrm,
Vol., Pan to find that the response time was really slow. Toggling
with the Track/Channel button while in Preset mode also seemed slow.
While playing full speed, tried to mute tracks 1-8 with a quick slide
of the finger also resulted in 2-5 seconds delay response. This is
my first piece of Hardware and I am curious to know if this is
normal. Is it because I was playing really loud with all Preset
tracks running or is there a bug of some sort?

Thanks for the advice

I've never experience this. By any chance, could you have a midi
feedback loop going on?
