Grid Record Mode

Grid Record Mode

2002-06-15 by beat_rebel

I've asked this question before and have had no replies. Sean, if
you're listening, please reply.

I do all my sequencing in Grid Record Mode. When I'm working on a
synth part I start in grid and finish up by changing the note lengths
in the Note Edit Menu. I can deal with that. The problem I have is
with multi-channel tracks. Any grid sequencing done on a track always
goes to the parallel channel, i.e. grid recording on track 05 always
goes to channel 05A. I would have to go to note edit and change the
channel for every note to accomplish a multi-channel track using grid
record. I shoud be able to select a channel to work on when grid
recording a multi-channel track. Am I just an idiot? I had expected
the OS upgrades to take care of this but they haven't. What's up?

Currently, Grid record only works on a single channel per Track. Like
all the feature requests that show up on the list, I'll will make sure
this one is logged into our feature request data base.

I have a request for you to log. Maybe the Emu techs should start a log
of all the feature requests? Would that create a paradox?

A feature request log being logged because it's a feature request....
