Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

I opened my machine up (see previous post) and I'm noticing some 
things here that are kind of cool.  This thing reminds me of some of 
the old SOHO computers.  It even looks like a small atx power 
supply!   Anyway, I located the risc processor and the MP-7 OS rom I 
think.  But right next to it there's an empty chip slot!  Whats THIS 
for?  Did EMU plan to add something awesome and not tell us??  Maybe 
a sampler module??    Dream dream dream dream dreeeeeaaam.  

Ok, maybe I got a little outa hand there, but I'm currious if this 
slot will ever have a purpose!

Also, there's a nifty little phone jack on the LCD/edit section!  
With these two things I can really get my imagination going.  Maybe I 
could connect my MP-7 to a little beam scanner that could read 
peoples minds.  With the processing power of this beast, I wouldn't 
be suprised if I would be able to program it to convince chicks to 
want me.  Not that they don't already want me....

The empty socket is there specifically to initiate the Dream Sequence.... ;)
