Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

I want to do a loop with a bunch of patterns. E.g. a structure like :

A-A-B-C-B-A

In order to increase to 32 bars limit of the patterns, and to jam-session with my XL-7.

BUT.

There is no LOOP feature in SONG mode (just looping the current patttern).

Is there any tricky sysex stuff in order to change pattern while playing a pattern? OR changing step while playing a song.
