Possible P2500 bug, very annoying !

Possible P2500 bug, very annoying !

Thanks in advance for any help (E-Mu tech support would be great
too) with this issue/bug: My sends assignments are not being saved:
Here is what I did to test this bug:

- In the [Midi] section I make sure I am in "Multi" mode.

- I go into [Global] section and set all my midi "A" channels 1-16
to a given send 1,2,3 or 4. I save the MultiSetup as "multi-1" or
any name...

- I make sure that the effects send param is set to "use master",
not sure if right words, but I know that the presets are all using
the sends and the master FXA and FXB setup.

- I create a pattern but when it plays, it resets the send
assignments to what they were before I set them in global, so I hear
a tap delay where I should be hearing just 'verb. If I hit the
[Global] button in the middle of the pattern playing, I select
the "Multi-1" multisetup I saved and all my sends are back to normal
and I hear verb where I should and tap delay where I should, but
when the pattern recycles, they get reset again.

- The same things happens to my mix volumes and pans !!! OUCH

Why does the pattern play reset the sends to the default
multisetup ?? Or better yet, why don't my sends assignments stay
active ?? Please help, I am trying to finish a demo with the P2500
and this is causing a big delay for me... Thanks !! -Steve ;-}

One thing you can do is save the current multisetup after you have it set to
your liking then just recall that multisetup when you boot up your machine.

maybe it helps if you save the pattern while your effects are set up
as you want them? as far as i know this is the way it should work.

Yes, it looks like if you save the pattern "WHILE" it's playing you
get the new setup !!! That qualifies as a bug in my book ! -Steve
