Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

This is what was Mikexl7  for some reason yahoo groups let me back 
in by my firs name here.

   Hey Aaron thanks for spelling that one out.  Well it is great to 
know that 001.01.001 is what i am looking for.  I have to say that 
that is the best addition to the new OS other than the pattern 
switching being totaly smooth.  

   I can now comunicate with my Digitech studio quad as well as my 
behringer 9024 not to mention my E5000,  I am so happy to have my 
live pa rig going from sompthing that only lived in my head to a big 
black box sitting beside me on the floor.  With a sweet yellow 
controller/synth/sequencer sitting on top of it all.  Now once I 
have it all set up I don't even have to look at the other gear!!

   I do have a question about the new sequencer setup.  How do i 
record mutiple channels on one track now that the track and chanel 
are locked together?

what am I missing?

It's the same as before, set it to ANY.  The track and channels are not 
locked, they just appear that way for easier editing between menus.  You 
can still have multiple channels on a single track.

Glad to know that it is still in there but can you explain it a

No prob, it's my fault.  I mistakenly confused my Cubase terminology with 
the XL-7 for a second, sorry about that.  I should have said set the track 
to MultiA or MultiB based on your situation.
