Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

the fx of my a2k automatically become the same as the fx from the 
chosen mp-7-pattern. does anyone else have this problem with other 
emu-gear?... is there a possible work-around?

Hook it up to MIDI Out B instead of A.  FX sysex is only sent out on MIDI Out
A.

Alternatively, if you must use MIDI Out A, you could set your Audity 2000 to
use "Preset on channel xx" effects instead of "Use master settings".
