You might need to refresh the page a few times before you see the offer.

Ok, thanks for your help. Btw, have you seen the main page??
If you buy an XL-7 now, Emu will give you a free 32Mb Proteus ROM with it!!! No fair!! Is this an Emu thing, or just limited to Sweetwater???? I will be slightly unhappy if it's an Emu thing and i don't get my free ROM!

That is an E-MU thing where you send your receipt in to E-MU after
purchase from Sweetwater. Guitar Center had a similar thing when I
purchased my P2K in "99"Nd I still see offers that they have in the
monthly mailers. The deal was for a free Protozoa ROM where your
invoice was sent back to them(E-MU).

Look at E-MU's site now and if you purchase a **-6 keyboard, you get
a free software package after sending you proof of purchase in.

I finally got my free Proteus ROM for my XL-7, and I have to say I am
totally overwhelmed by the preset choices I have now.

I heard about the promotion for the free Composer ROM,
but had to bring it up specifically with my music
store dealer who was not aware of it. They called Emu
and got a coupon a couple of days later that I filled
out and sent back to Emu.

I just got the ROM the other day (it's great BTW --
totally complements the stock XL-7, plus World
Expedition and Siedlaczek Orchestra ROMS that I bought
-- I'm fully populated now and loaded for bear.)

There might be some kind of timing thing going on with
this offer, but you need to work with the dealer to
get things going, assuming it's still available.
