Well, if you've got an external sequencer, you can get rid of the track 
mute by deleting that track in the external sequencer, then reloading it 
back into the XL-7.  I think the new Erase Track feature does this as well 
though, anyone know?

led for da track is still on... is there a way to delete it....?
well, I knew that this was discused a few months ago on this board, but I 
have lost the mails....

yes.. I tried this and it works... but the leds for da tracks are still on....
I work with cubase... I nearly tried everything to get them off... no way....

Upload the MIDI File into your computer via E-Loader, then import that 
into Cubase (new song).  Once there, delete the blank Part on the track 
you don't want, then resave the Midi File as Type 0, resolution 384ppqn. 
Reload it back into your Xl-7 and that LED should be out now.  I do this 
all the time, it works great.

ok... it works... the led is out.. all fine... but the next big problem: when I load it back to my XL-7, the pattern lenght has changed and soundz stared just after a while ( so the first steps are empty????)... well thats very confusing..... may you help me?pleaaaaaase..
think there is something not right at cubase... but what????
