midi file import

2002-04-12 by ugrr5

I have this problem when importing standard midifiles, I make in
cubase 5.0 into the command station. lets say I export a 8 bar midi
file that was made in cubase. When its imported into the command
station it is now 10 bars long, with the first two bars being blank.
At first I though that it was maybe the two bar countin that I have
set in cubase, I disable that, no luck. I have tried saving in both
midi file formats. no luck there either.
Any suggestions
Thanks
Gill

Gill,

Remove the midi count-in under options/synchronise. That should fix
it.

Good luck,

Rob
