Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

I'm curious about something. I have an XL-7 and for a short while I had a PX-7 as well, and I noted that the PX-7 has the alternate functions for the Stop, Play and Record buttons, such as XMIX, which were introduced with firmware version 2.00, printed on the front panel, but my XL-7 doesn't. Fair enough, my XL-7 was probably made before 2.00 was released. But when studying XL-7's for sale on eBay for instance, I've noticed the same thing.

So the question is: has anyone ever seen an XL-7 with the "2.00 legends" on the front panel?

The 2.00 update came out in 2003, the same year all PX-7's where manufactured. That's why. Your not likely to see an XL-7 with that layout, as the PX-7 replaced it (and the MP-7).
