You can save the assignment of presets to channels as a multi.

In addition to Greg's suggestion there's another one that involves basically setting up patterns as templates with dummy data so the channel data gets saved with the pattern. Some background: when  saving a pattern, if there is no data on a particular track, it gets interpreted as an empty track.  I have used this technique to preserve (for example) channel assignments, etc.

In addition to your preset data, you could enter CC 7 as 127 on each channel (or any other data).  Then save the pattern.Hope that helps.

Yes. Also, you might want to test inserting presets as data to see if that is enough dummy data to prevent tracks from going into an empty/default state when saved. I was wondering about that. I mght test it myself and possibly post some template examples.

The preset is saved whenyouengage record. It's savedas data, pre startof the pattern. If you make 16 dummy tracks fora one measure pattern with the desired presets assigned to the tracks, record without notes and then save. The next time you select the pattern it should load all of the presets, volume, and pan information withouthaving to press start. As Steve mentioned you can then uses this as a template for further setups.
