basicall: does the seequencer still run stable when you change parameters live? heard some stories about bugs and frozen modules... And: is it true that there is no posibility to save the mididata onboard (no smart card or so)? Does that mean I can't load songs on stage. Everything has to be on the machine already? michael --- In xl7@y..., erik_magrini@B... wrote: > I use a XL-7 occasionally live, what kind of questions do you have? > > rEalm > > > > > > "miki3mikius" <silver@t...> > 04/07/02 04:24 PM > Please respond to xl7 > > > To: xl7@y... > cc: > Subject: [xl7] live performance > > > is there anybody out there who has experineces using mp7 on stage. basicall: does the seequencer still run stable when you change parameters live? heard some stories about bugs and frozen modules... >>> Well, I hate to say it but in the past there were some issues with lock ups and stuck notes. I'm willing to bet that the new OS takes care of a lot of those problems, it seems much more stable to me compared to the older OS's. You should be fine using it live, I mean the Crystal Method do it right? (joke) ;) Just remember the #1 rule about live stuff. If it can go wrong, it will go wrong and at the worst time possible too! <<< And: is it true that there is no posibility to save the mididata onboard (no smart card or so)? Does that mean I can't load songs on stage. Everything has to be on the machine already? >>>Yeah, unless you bring a laptop with you, there's no way to restore any lost data. Bummer, but i don't think anyone's had a problem with that. <<< rEalm
