Yeah, I doubt it will run on modern Windows, as it looks like an old DOS program. I run it on an old Dell Inspiron Win98/DOS laptop that I got off eBay for like $40. The laptop cannot do much at all, not even networking, but it will run my old DOS file conversion and librarian software programs that use internal (non USB) floppy disks. I have to use Midisport midi interface, cause it is the only one I could find that you can get old Win98 drivers for. Maybe you could try it with Win98 compatibility mode?

XP worked fine for me with a MIDIsport

Definitely won't run on Win7 or above natively, and compatibility mode has been flaky on Win7 32 bit and just plain doesn't work on 64 bit in my experience.

Try following the advice in this link:

This will (if you're using 'Pro' or above) enable you to run a virtual XP machine, which can also be incredibly useful for running other, older software (as even for stuff it can't run natively, the compatibility mode is much better on XP).

Incidentally, if you're still having trouble, check your MIDI drivers, as eLoader tends to have issues with some of them (I have a USB - MIDI cable that doesn't work using its own drivers, but works like a charm using eMU ones...)

I used an XP VM hosted on my Mac Book Pro via Parallels 8.x

I used a MIDIsport and the corresponding M-Audio drivers for XP. and loaded perfectly w/ eLoader 1.1

This was with my P2K

I am pretty sure I got e-loader to work on a windows 7 and a windows 8 (both laptops, 64 bit). I seem to recall on win 8 it failed at first and then win 8 asked if I wanted it to try some special mode.  If I am remembering correctly, I said yes, and it worked.  I thought I had posted this before. I will check my son's computer later to verify.
