E-Mu Explorations

E-Mu Explorations

2014-06-30 by smw-mail@...

I am thinking about taking some time to explore issues that people here still have.  For example: Does Prodatum work with the CS/P2500?

Are there other unresolved issues users are struggling with? If so, maybe I can see if there's anything I can figure out. (I can try, but no promises of success.)

Steve

PS: If I can do an audio stream of my explorations (talking into a mic, explaining what I am trying as I do it--with a chat room to ask questions), would other be interested? (And if so, what time?)

Great idea, but how about publishing it on YouTube for The Greater Good of The Whole Humanity? That way it would get indexed by The Eye of Mordor (aka Google) and more accessible; it could also bring the existence of the list (if you mention it) to the attention of E-mu users from outside of the list.

Just sayin'

Hey, thanks so much for your message with this very good intention!

Yes I am a MP7 user that has this incompatibility with Prodatum and I would like to do this chat, tonight is it alright for you, lets say 22.00 West european hour? If not waiting proposals.

Waiting your confirmation.

Thank you.

Best,

George

I think this is a really slow process for solving this problem

That would be very kind and generous of you Steve. You have always been a very positive contributor to the group and much appreciated by those you have helped including me. Thanks!
I agree with Bruno about going the YouTube route. It's here to stay and more far reaching than what Yahoo or other forums may have to offer.

I have thought of other forms--even made some outlines for some video tutorials. Unfortunately they take more time than I have.

Also, I test drove Cam Studio several times and looked at some other realtime screen capture software but since I am running an XP (from about 10 years ago) with about 1.37 GB of RAM, the results were not good.

I suppose I could do the audio only thing in realtime, edit that down, and then re-create static screen shots to lay on top of the edited audio track.

Let me think about that.

The idea of doing anything with Prodatum is dead--just like Prodatum 2.0.
