I've synced it with my Alesis Fusion8 and also with a pair of Korg Electribe MX.

In both cases the loop is correct and keep playing in sync. Of course, Emu is the master in both cases, I didn't test the other way.

It may help to use filtering on the output. Send only timing through midi and avoid controllers or notes, or use the MidiB to separate messages.
