Most likely it's the curse of Command Station - jumping data dial. Kontakt cleaning spray should help (search the archive for "data dial").

You can do this per pattern, check "Patern Edit Menu -> Channel Assign", set it to "Internal" (page 96 in manual, revision G).

I think u mean external bruno. Also go into midi menu and turn midi for that channel off.

I definitely do, thanks for spotting!

Not sure if it won't just turn off the specific channel for incoming MIDI  messages, but not the internal ones. Never tried it, but if it works that way, it's FAR better than pattern level settings and you are my hero, Matt.

If u only turn pattern to ext u will still trigger internal with pads if pads are set to send midi.
