Erasing tracks in Song Mode?

Erasing tracks in Song Mode?

2002-04-02 by erik_magrini@Baxter.com

Ok, question time. Say I've got a Song recorded, including volume
automation for several tracks. How can I erase just the automation on one
track/channel, and not the entire song track? Here's what i was thinking.
Since you need to set the Song Track to MultiA in order to record volume
info in the first place, it seems logical that I would need to set this to
the channel I want to erase the data on first. Then I could do a Erase
all CC's, and then set it back to MultiA when I'm done. I guess my
question is, will setting the Song Track to an individual channel cause me
to lose the info on the other channels that I've already recorded? Is
there another way to do this?

I suspect that holding down erase and moving a controller erases for that controller on that track. If it doesn't work like that (I'm not able to check it right now) it should.
