XL-7 for sale out of Los Angeles.

XL-7 for sale out of Los Angeles.

2012-09-27 by Susan Subtract

I have an XL-7 that has been acting up lately and I'm willing to let
it go for cheap. It still works. I doesn't seem to have the CPU
problem that many experience. No memory problems. There are just
random midi note-on messages that get sent out that I've been ignoring
for about 2 years, not letting it disrupt my work flow. For example: I
will be trying to grid edit with a note selected, and the midi note-on
message will send out and it will change my note I'm grid editing and
i just have to hit the pad i want to edit with again.

This is also sold without a rom. I was using this to sequence external
gear only and sold the XROM over a year ago.

Comes with rack ears ($50 value on their own, I'll include the
original ends too) and the original spiralbound manual and a black 12"
BNC 12V Lamp.

So, how about $200, postage paid, to anywhere in the states. $150
seems to be the going rate for a not perfect yet functional command
station minus room, so with the rack ears, original manual, lamp, and
postage paid, $200 sounds fair.

Let me know!

I already tried the "reinitialization" by holding down the cursor buttons while powering on and going through the motions. It passes all tests. I don't have access to an older computer and I've had no luck with virtual box on my mac recognizing my midisport plugged in... so as far as re-loading the OS, I haven't been able to try that.<br> <br>Does $200 seem like a fair price?<br><br><div class="gmail_quote">On Fri, Sep 28, 2012 at 1:10 AM, Mach FoX <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:machfox@hotmail.com" target="_blank">machfox@...</a>></span> wrote:<br> <blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex"> <u></u> <div style> <span> </span> <div> <div> <div> <p> </p><div dir="ltr"> he110- I will pass this on. there may need a reset/os and be just fine.<br><br><div><div></div><hr>To: <a href="mailto:xl7@yahoogroups.com" target="_blank">xl7@yahoogroups.com</a><br>From: <a href="mailto:ryan.taylor.jorgensen@..." target="_blank">ryan.taylor.jorgensen@gmail.com</a><br> Date: Thu, 27 Sep 2012 14:41:50 -0700<br>Subject: [xl7] XL-7 for sale out of Los Angeles.<div><div class="h5"><br><br> <span> </span> <div> <div> <div> I have an XL-7 that has been acting up lately and I'm willing to let<br> it go for cheap. Hi Susan -
btw - this is Mach FoX here.
that is a strange issue. if i didnt have 2 command stations already i would make offer and snatch up for rack ears and parts...
maybe you could find friend to try updating os option?...great machine and would be more valuable then. :]

Does $200 seem like a fair price?

Re-updated the OS. Problem has diminished, but still happens occasionally...<br><br><div class="gmail_quote">On Fri, Sep 28, 2012 at 10:30 AM, Mach FoX <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:machfox@..." target="_blank">machfox@...</a>></span> wrote:<br> <blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex"> <u></u> <div style> <span> </span> <div> <div> <div> <p> </p><div dir="ltr"> Hi Susan -<br>btw - this is Mach FoX here.<br>that is a strange issue. if i didnt have 2 command stations already i would make offer and snatch up for rack ears and parts...<br>maybe you could find friend to try updating os option?...great machine and would be more valuable then. :]<br> <br><br><div><div class="im"><div></div><hr>To: <a href="mailto:xl7@yahoogroups.com" target="_blank">xl7@yahoogroups.com</a><br>From: <a href="mailto:ryan.taylor.jorgensen@..." target="_blank">ryan.taylor.jorgensen@...</a><br> </div>Date: Fri, 28 Sep 2012 07:08:17 -0700<br>Subject: Re: [xl7] XL-7 for sale out of Los Angeles.<div><div class="h5"><br><br> <span> </span> <div> <div> <div> I already tried the "reinitialization" by holding down the cursor buttons while powering on and going through the motions.
