Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

I had this happen several years ago (P2500). I made sure the power cord I was using had a nice fit, checked all internal cables cables, and re-seated all sound roms. I was lucky--that fixed the intermittent reboots for me.

I had similar issues with freezing (while still playing what was
expected to be played). Opening it, re-seating all ROMs helped. Maybe
it just needs some care every now & then...

It can also be an issue with power adapter, someone here mentioned the
capacitors that tend to leak after some time. Probably it's worth
checking.

Glad to hear it worked.  Its nice when gear problems like that don't require costly repairs!
