Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

In the manual, it says "The S/PDIF output is a digital copy of the stereo signal on the main outputs."
But I find this not to be true as far as the bus returns. I'm using them to get an external sound source joined up with the main output, but unfortunately it's missing when I use S/PDIF. Does anyone know if there's an option hidden somewhere to fix this? Thanks.

The summing happens in analog domain - it's just the sum of audio signals.
Getting an external sound from S/PDIF output would require Command Stations to have an A/D converter, which they don't. So it's not a matter of option being implemented or not, it's physically impossible.
