Couldn't find anything about this in the search... Is it possible to get this to work?
2011-06-23 by splattabreakz
Also, just to add to this question, do either Proteum or Prodatum work with the USB connection or do they have to use midi? --- In xl7@...m, "splattabreakz" <s_o_m_9000@...> wrote: > > Couldn't find anything about this in the search... > > Is it possible to get this to work? >

I've got mine installed fine, and it will load up (have to run as administrator during install). I just can't get windows to recognize my emu-mp7. --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, "splattabreakz" <s_o_m_9000@...> wrote: > > Couldn't find anything about this in the search... > > Is it possible to get this to work? >

Windows gives me an error message when the emu is plugged in via usb that says it's an unrecognized device. I haven't had a chance to try midi. Just a note also, I'm not the original poster. Thanks for the suggestion though. --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, Bruce Manning <brujerman@...> wrote: > > Do you know what Device ID your MP7 is set at? Yes, have you tried running the installer with administrator privileges? My eloader starts up on win 7 64. I have successfully installed it. --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, "splattabreakz" <s_o_m_9000@...> wrote: > > This is the error message that i get when i run the installer > > "launchanywhere gui has stopped working" > > anyone got it running on win7? > > also, can prodatum or proteum do everything e-loader does? > > --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, "splattabreakz" <s_o_m_9000@> wrote: > > > > Couldn't find anything about this in the search... > > > > Is it possible to get this to work? > > >

Yeah, I have. I'm pretty sure I'm logged in as admin anyway but just to be sure I clicked run as admin... and still the same. Any idea if i'm losing out on features by not having access to the loader? --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, "capturedandframed" <photorandy@...> wrote: > > Yes, have you tried running the installer with administrator privileges? Try running it in windows xp compatibility mode. If that doesn't work, try it in other comp modes. --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, "splattabreakz" <s_o_m_9000@...> wrote: > > Yeah, I have. Try running it in windows xp compatibility mode. If that doesn't work, try it in other comp modes. I can't remember which one worked for me, but one of those did (compatibility mode or admin). --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, "capturedandframed" <photorandy@...> wrote: > > Try running it in windows xp compatibility mode. Tried compat mode and compat mode as admin... Still no dice. Well, I've tried pretty much everything I can think of at this point. The closest I got was running the windows virtual xp mode. That mode allowed me to install the software and USB driver. Unfortunately I can't get my soundcard installed so there's no way to get midi hooked up. At least to my knowledge anyway. Anyone know if I can do all the e-loader stuff with prodatum or proteum? --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, "splattabreakz" <s_o_m_9000@...> wrote: > > Tried compat mode and compat mode as admin...
