FAQ

Actually the FAQ is up on the site already :)

A constantly-updated file on the Emu site would be nice, especially if it
included your nifty list FAQ.

I've been toying with the idea of doing a "cookbook" for the Command
Stations, sort of layman's manual, easier to read and understand. Would
people be interested in something like this if it was about $15-20?

I meant, incorporated into the appropriate parts of the manual.

RE: [xl7] FAQ

Heh, yeah there are cakewalk, cubase and logic books simply because the concept is baffling to a newbie. Get an AN1X, and do a whole hardware sequencers for dummies book with specifics for each machine (Command station, MPC, AN1X, 505 etc) an you'll sell copies.... ;)

Hey all,

I'm curently in the process of revamping the FAQ. If there's anything
you'd like to see added or changed, please email it to me for
consideration. Thanx!

How about a detailed section on controlling external gear thru MIDI, Changing
external presets and proper MIDI chain. Also costomising ARP's and saving
presets. Looking forward to reading the new FAQ, I have the old one printed
out and on my studio corkboard. Thanks!

hi,

i am new to this group.
can someone please tell me where i can find the FAQ?
also, does anyone know a way to eliminate all the line noise i am
hearing on my XL-7? before i was perfect sounding as far the sound
coming out of the main left out jack, then i took it apart so that i
could make some minor modifacations to my master pot(it shortend it a
little so that it doesn't stick out so far), now there is this
terrible hum...

Try making sure all connections are tight and all of the screws
inside and out... sounds like you have a grounding problem
