How do you rechannelize MIDI input via sysex?

Ok. I see. Switching the MP7's "Rechannelize Input" to "Always" causes it to send all incoming MIDI to the preset on the selected track, or channel, regardless of the channel of the incoming data.

It pays to read the FAQ and Tips & Tricks docs in the Files section. The following from the latter:

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Turning Rechannelize On Via Sysex

Parameter Value Edit Command:
{F0h, 18h, 0Fh, dd, 55h, 01h, 02h, xx, xx, vv, vv, F7h}

dd = Device ID (probably 0)
xx, xx = Parameter Number, {LSB, MSB} <- so for 420, {24h, 03h}
vv, vv = Value, {LSB, MSB} <- so for 1, {01h, 00h}

Thanks for posting both the question and answer. If you look for it in the sysex manual, it might not be clear that this is what parameter 420 does--both 419 and 420 are labelled MIDI_USE_B_CHANS (whatever that means). The only clue is that the parameters are listed as follows: (off, on, or record only).

It is a good reminder to read the FAQS, too.
