no. but... if you're doing what i do, using at as six mono outputs, you
can do something like this: route a preset to (eg) send2->sub1. then you
can *pan* the layers independently and route them to different outboard
fx. that would give you a preset with layers divided between two outputs.

of course you can also use the main stereo outputs with onboard effects
and then use the sub outs as four mono sends with outboard fx... that's
just one way to slice-n-dice it. there's a lot of flexibility with the
outputs.

bear in mind that "pan" is a summing node: "All the modulation inputs on
XL-7 are summing nodes. This means that you can connect as many modulation
sources as you want to an input (such as Pitch or AmpVol). Modulation
sources are simply added algebraically -- connecting two knobs one set to
-100 and the other set to +100 yields a net value of zero."

OT: EX-800

After years of inactivity, my EX-800 came out of mothballs and I replaced the long-dead battery. Inspired by success, I searched for mods which I had discovered at a few years ago and re-found the Moog Slayer mod (and others). (I thought your name sounded familiar--I just didn't remember from where.)
