Any Mp7 users out there with any tips/tricks? I just got one with the factory rom, extreme lead, and the beat garden rom. Any suggestions on the best roms?

P.s. all my best patches for synth sounds are ones I made myself.

Beat garden has lots of beats built into it I think. Also has good patches. I have much exploring to do here.
Protean drums (px-7) rom has really tight multisampled live kits and drums that sound really tight. Sp1200 kit is fat, quasimatic kit is super lofi. I love this rom.
Xl7 is classic dance sounds. 808, 909 kits, swirly pads fat leads or whatever. Always need this for techno of any type.
And I also have world expedition. It has some good realistic sounding flutes and stuff in it, as well as good world drums. Missing a didgeridoo though.
Picked up an esi2000 for $100 on craigslist with a bunch of sample cds and a scsi drive. Been having fun with the conga drums super fat leads fad drum kits on that box sequenced by the cs.
And the cs can sit right on top of the rack module.
And the kaoss pad sits right on top of the scsi enclosure. :)
Bad ass.

Hello all? I was wondering if anyone happenned to know what/how to load .mid patch banks? Or convert them to .syx?

In my experience, load patches stored in *.mid format using a sequencer or a midi file player. Chances are, the midi file has banks of sysex data dumps that get "played" as the sequence plays.

You could try to load the midi file using e-loader and then playing that back into the E-Mu as if it were coming in externally. I don't know if that would work and I don't have time to test it.

I suggest using some kind of sequencer/midi player.

Hope this helps.
