happy but hickups

dear EMU-people (especially Aaron!) i just got the mp7 and i LOVE it immediately.... this is the best instrument i bought EVER! after reading this groups' messages, i was a bit worried about the difficulty of the sequencer but i think it's made as simple as possible and i can do everything i want without even reading the manual - i'm trying not to boast here, just complimenting the programmer ;-) one thing i knew about before buying it was the fact that people complained about the timing hickups when changing patterns... i have to say, regretfully i'm having the same problems sometimes... these hickups tend to come up when i didn't save or hadn't pushed the stop- button thrice. so... for ex. i copied the same pattern 6 times... didn't save/ pushed stop 3 times... hickups occur. after saving/ pressing stop... no problem when muting tracks in pattern 1.... going to pattern2... coming back to pattern 1.... hickup (imo cause of "remembering" the mutes and recollecting them)... maybe if the mutes aren't remembered cq. the pattern is the same as saved earlier and not considered "unsaved" these hickups would stop happening? i didn't have the time to test this theory thoroughly (just used one pattern, no difficult cc messages/program/sound/changes), but since you guys are busy with the new os, maybe you can fit this in if it isn't a too bad idea. anyways.. i'll go back to my mp7... i hear her calling... she must need me....mmmmm
