prodatum xl-7 not found :-(

2010-04-17 by Geee

hi folks,
i just tried to setup my xl7 command station with prodatum via a motu midi express128.
is there certain settings i have to watch out for?
my xl7 has all 4 rom slots loaded(xl7, mophatt, virtuoso1+2).
i tried troubleshooting with switching midi out a/b port, matching sysex id and reseting sysex id delay with no luck.
i m on mac os 10.6...
best,
george

another idea camo to mind: did you configure MIDI connections in the OSX Audio-MIDI Setup tool? because if you do, it won't work. Disconnect them in the Audio-MIDI setup tool and use the midi hardware ports directly in prodatum.

hope this helps,
Jan
