How to stop sequencer play when using Command Station as a module?

How to stop sequencer play when using Command Station as a module?

2009-10-26 by D F Tweedie

Hi,

I'm sure this questions comes up a lot ... but I can't seem to find the answer.

When I try to use my MP-K as a sound module triggered by Cubase, when I start the sequencer play in Cubase it also starts the sequencer play in the MPK.

How do I deactivate this?

Thanks for any help.

DF

Hi D F Tweedie,

im not a cubase user myself, using logic. but check "synchronization"
or more specifically "midi synchronization" options for the project
and disable the sending of midi clock on the midi device that your mp-
k is connected to.

thank you for the hint that one of those questions only let you choose
4 entries. fixed now.

alternatively, (and better if theres something daisy chained on that
MIDI device that needs receive MIDI clock from cubase) disable "MIDI
Song Start" on your mp-k (if you use prodatum it's in the M-tab).
