Has anyone here worked with this? I have a PX-7, and was hoping that it could generate poly AT for my gear that responds to it. The manual says that it can generate Poly AT but not respond to it. From what I can tell, you can only insert/edit Poly AT in edit event mode, and not from the keypads. Haven't looked into this all the way, but I was hoping the keypads would generate it. The midi spec says no for respond, and generate is left blank. Any opinions welcomed. Just got a Fizmo and looking to control it with the PX-7. --James

You probably checked this already, but in case not: Is poly on or off in the AFTERTOUCH CURVES menu? --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, "nordmod23" <nordmod23@...> wrote:

Thanks! I was looking in the manual index, and that isn't listed at all. Now I see it listed in the table of contents. DOH! I'm still not getting polyAT to affect the Fizmo, but at least I am further along towards my goal. --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, "steve_the_composer" <smw-mail@...> wrote:

Still no luck. I have emailed Emu for suggestions and not heard back. Any other suggestions appreciated! --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, "nordmod23" <nordmod23@...> wrote:

I don't think Creative/E-Mu provides any support whatsoeever for legacy gear except what's on the website. Don't expect a reply and don't bother to call. We are very lucky to have this group and some very knowledgeable members. I am surprised however, that no one else tested their command station for this issue. I'd do it, but mine's a P-2500--no keypad. Good luck. --Steve --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, "nordmod23" <nordmod23@...> wrote:

I just tried it on mine and it works fine, though I did find a bug! The screen you want is 3rd in the Controllers menu: "AFTERTOUCH CURVES". For each style message (channel or poly), you can choose from "off", 1, 2, 3, or 4. The bug I found is that when I went into this page, they both said 100! I verified that with them both off, I saw the MIDI out light blink upon note press, but not aftertouch. If I turned either on, I'd get lights with pressure. My computer's not connected to the device at the moment so I can't verify that it's actually sending the right message, but I'd bet it is. -Aaron
