Gig bag for Command Station?

Gig bag for Command Station?

2009-06-11 by nordmod23

I just got a PX-7, and am really enjoying it. It's a kind of odd size, and I'd like to keep it protected even around the house. Any recommendations?

If you really want to protect it I'd either go to Guitar Center or online and look for a hard case like the SKB line. You could take it a step further and buy rack ears (about $50.00) and then place it in a portable rack.

I'd consider trying to dupe you into buying my OFFICIAL XL-7 bag, but you've probably already read the thread about that and its glaring inadequacies. (I hadn't got around to mentioning its stupid color, had I?)

If I had to go with something in a hurry, I'd put the thing in one of my spare rolling semi-soft suitcases. Y'know, the sort with a couple zipped compartments in front of the main section (after removing the folded suit bag from that.) I don't know if they're still popular, but a decade ago, they were the standard thing for business sorts making two-day trips.
