Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

My mp7 isnt reading roms and i took the whole thing apart to see what I 
could find and under the simm board is alot of warm solder joints some 
that are almost gone. Just wondering if anyone has ever had to make the 
repair? I am hoping by resoldering it the simm board will read roms 
again.

I tried the pencil eraser on the contacts, air to blow out everything, 
unplugged and reconnected all cables, checked all pins for broken or 
stuck ones, tried all 4 rom slots and still cant get it to read. This 
happened after I bought a xlead version 2 rom from ebay and as soon as 
I installed it in the board suddenly it wouldnt read anymore. I know 
the rom itself is good as we tested it in my friends xl7.

Just wondering if anyone has any other tips or things to look for as 
the machine powers up and starts fine but just says no roms 
installed ??? under presets and it fails the test for it when i run the 
diag test.
