This is really good news as i was about to scrap my mp7 because i was SURE i some hoe messed up the rom board. I have been trying to figure this out on mine for some time so I just have to switch those.

Bank switching involves three parameters:
ROM ID [MSB]
ROM BANK [LSB]
Program Change
MIDI Spec defines controllers 0 and 32 for bank switching; you also
need to send a program change in order for the swicth to take effect.
If you have no controllers or devices hooked up to your gear (either
hardware or software), you could still accidently switch to a bank
you don't have. That would result in the "NOT INSTALLED" message.
