cubase-question

Sorry, I know, this is not the board to ask this, maybe you can still
give me a hint:

Do you know how to change the midi-channel-setting of a track in
cubase? I change it in the arrangement window, save it, when I reload
it, it will appear under the previous midi channel I just changed.
Checked the notes in the drumwindow though - clicking on a single
note reveals the notes through the new midi-channel, the arrangement
window says something different. When I load the pattern to my mp-7,
it will appear under the previous unwanted channel. Hmm? Any
suggestions? I checked the event-list , but where does the midi-
channelsetting hide? Or is it somewhere else?

Thanx for listening

Heinrich

What version of Cubase are you using? Try creating a NEW midi track, drag
and drop your part to it, then change the track to the right channel and
delete the previous (now empty) track. Save your new Arrangement, as well
as the song. See if that helps!
