Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

  Greetings-

  I have an MPC 4000. I am using the MP-7 as a sound module. 

  On the MPC I have ch9 being sent to the EMU channel 9, with a synth sound. That works 
  great, the midi info is recorded into the MPC and I'm rockin along. 

  I want to play a bass line on ch10. So I set it up: ch10 on MPC going to ch10 on EMU. When I 
  switch tracks on the EMU to ch10, the sound on ch9 switches to the currnet preset(10 instead 
  of 9). 

  EMU is in Multi midi mode. 

  Why is this not working.....
