Oooh yeah. Finally. Thanks guys for your help. First - I deleted the stupid calendar spam Second - I switched the group from open membership to approved membership Third - I deleted a few recent spam messages Fourth - I added Steve and Bob to the moderator list The upside of switching to moderated membership add is that we should be getting no more folks joining just to spam. The downside of course is that the moderators will have to admin new members. Steve and Bob, I hope you can help sifting through the new members to make sure only the real people get through, and get through quickly. Just to clarify: I have started to search through the archives for spammers (those with posts about body parts, loans, refinancing, perscription drugs, discount software, jewelry, and non-musical sexual perfomance, among others). Old "members" who qualify as spammers are being weeded out. To help, if anyone searches the archives and finds spam, just cut and paste the user name into a file in the "Please investigate" folder (Files).
