Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Hi,
I have channels 1 - 5 set to external in the channel assign menu in the 
Pattern edit menu.
and it does that when i hit a pad, but it also outputs on channel 1 on 
every channel as well.

am i forgetting someting?
