Hey folks, I just picked up an MPC(1000) and am looking to incorporate it with my XL-7. I know the MPC'ers out there love their sequencers, but I know and love my XL7 and can VERY quickly lay down beats on it. I know about midi and hooking up stuff together - I'm just looking for feedback on how other peeps are using multiple boxes or other synth's together, in creative and productive ways. I don't have an MPC but I've used one a bunch. For you, I'd recommend slaving the MPC to the XL-7 via MIDI clock. This would actually be a pretty good combo as you'd get the sampling abilities of the MPC with the sequencing abilities of the XL-7. -Aaron
