Hi Gord Dont spray it down the sides of the shaft. You will brake down the grease that make it smooth to turn. Have a look at this photo (if the link works.. its in the root of the photos section) http://ph.groups.yahoo.com/group/xl7/photos/view/9e1e?b=14&m=s&o=0 Look where the arrows are, thats were you spray. You dont need vey much, in fact if you apply full pressure on the nozzle even for 1/2 second that will be way too much! You dont really want to cover anything else in Deoxit as its a waste and its expensive! Also you will degrease the shaft. If you do mop it up with some toilet roll or the like.
