Hi, just wondering if it were possible to set loop points in the samples or some other way to lengthen the vox samples without using pitch?

Yep. You can even adjust them in realtime with patchcords! SLoop is the cord destination you want. There's also SRetrig (which will restart the sample, not the envelopes), 'SStart (how far into the sound you start, also accessible in the start/delay page). Note that if you send more than 100% of a cord (i.e. through a Gain4x) you can get outside of the correct sample and into the next sample on the ROM. This can be cool or really ugly, depending on what happens to come next in memory... -Aaron

i got some really weird results. i chose MIDIA and it's ctrl# is 74 assigned it to sample loop, and set it to 0 then when i hit a key and turn it. it gives me an lfo effect for the duration of the sample. as if it were the sample playing without an lfo. hmmm --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, Aaron Eppolito <synthesis77@...> wrote: > > Yep. Cool trick for using patchcords! Makes me want to find some time to play around with this. Thanks for mentioning this. --Steve --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, Aaron Eppolito <synthesis77@...> wrote: > > Yep. You can even adjust them in realtime with patchcords!
