midi strangeness...

midi strangeness...

2007-09-27 by alaskahighway

ok, finally got my baby apple ibook to transmit midi to the px7
(cubase vst v5.1 under os9 with a midex3) and the 16 channels work as
expected, without that auto-rechanneling thingy (cool option if you
need it!).

anyways, whatever midi channel i select on the top left corner of the
px7 display 01-16A thru 01-16B) the built-in rubber keyboard *always*
plays 01A.

i don't have my manual handy & can't work out what i have to do to
change the rubber keyboard to play the selected channel - nothing
obvious within the midi page...

Without rechannelize on, you'll have to set the transmit channel for
the keypads manually. It's in the Controllers menu under Keyboard
Channel.

Actually, I just tested it, and if you set it to "Basic" it should
work.
