In the MIDI menu, the second item is about chained pattern tempo, and
can be set to either "keep constant tempo" or "change to new tempo".
Which is your system set to?

it doesn't give me that option. i can only set the base tempo.

He meant in the SONG menu, 2nd screen "EVENT SOURCE", 1st item
"tempo:".

Choose "all patterns" (if you want it to change every patter) or "1st
pattern" (if you want just the first pattern's tempo.

Sounds like you don't have OS 2.0... that option only became available
with that OS update

Re: [xl7] Re: tempo changes

I'm pretty sure that's been in there from the beginning. However, as I
mentioned, it's not in the MIDI menu, it's in the SONG menu (which
makes sense, cause it's about where the *song* gets its tempo from).
=)

Ahhh, you're right. I forgot about that feature. I was thinking about
the song mode the whole time. But yeah, if you've got 1.31, you should
totally get 2.00. It's free and chock full o' goodness.

Has anyone tried using E-Loader under parallels yet?

D'oh! Sorry, I was assuming you had the same OS. See, I'm using a
PX-7, and it shipped with OS 2.0 I keep forgetting the other Command
Stations shipped with the older OS.

Hmmm, yeah, I'd be very curious to know if E-Loader works with Parallels. Though I loathe
the idea of having anything from Microsoft installed on my system, even in a VM.

Upgrading to 2.00 is a must! There are a lot of invaluable new features and it's rock solid.
