metronome sound

Hi all!

I've recently bought an XL-7 to replace my ageing MP-7, and moved the 
ROMs (More Phatt + 2 others) to it. Now I'm getting the Xtreme Lead 
metronome sound, which is really crap )). How can I make it use the MP 
metronome? Does the order in which I install the ROMs matter? I tried 
swapping the MP and XL ROMs, but it didn't help. Also in the group's 
archives, I saw something about user preset 126 in bank 3 being used 
for metronome, but which kit should I put there to get back the 
metronome I'm used to?

Were you able to get meteonome assigned?
I am not hearing any metronome sound on my mp7.
It was purchased with no rom and i installed a TSCY rom. I can access the instrument sounds...butno metronome.

I recall a comment about a change in the preset being used. Not sure which of the more recent OSes changed it, but I suggest looking in either the addenda or the latest manual. I believe it used to be that the presets was the default and that if you changed the ROMs you had no metronome. Then one of the last 2 or 3 OSes changed it. User 126 might be it. Perhaps you could find out what the default preset was in the MP-7 and putting that in the new slot. I will try to look that up myself later.

PS: I couldn't find the reference by searching for metronome in a few of the manuals and the FAQs. Also, I had a thought--perhaps the slot of the rom makes a difference in which ROM is used for the metronome.
