hey im not sure what ur trying to do, if ur trying to import your
patterns then you gota hook up ur usb/midi cable to the pc and us
e-loader software (came with the mp7) to upload the midi files, then u
can import them into acid/fruity loops ect to play with, if you are on
about recording then im not sure, i use a mic/jack (home made cuss im
poor) cable to record onto the computer, sounds crap but its ok.

Thanks for the mail, but I did'nt send that post. I am new to the XL 7
though i've got one coming to me in the mail as we I speak. From what i've
read, i'm in for a treat. Looking for the best ways to trigger samples live
Tweak it all on the fly. Am I on the right track?

yeah one way to trigger samples is to have each channel of the xx-7
set to to a channel of the sampler and the sampler to the channel of
the xx-7. and you can have your knobs set to tweak and ur buttons as
well.
or if theyre oneshots(and pitch doesnt matter) just use one channel
to trigger differernt ones
