Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Hm ...

just a thought, but can I use an USB lamp on the XL7
to provide some lighting to it or only the front panel
lamp connector ?

I'm under the impression that USB Type B ports (the kind on the XL)  
don't have power output, only the Type A ports do.

I'm under the impression that USB Type B ports (the kind on the XL)
don't have power output, only the Type A ports do.

You can get hold of very cheap BNC gooseneck LED lamps now.
This wont load the XL7's to much as they dont draw as much power as a 
normal tungstan lamp.
I nearly brought one the other day as we got some in from a company we 
deal with for a job.
