memory

many thanks to those who answered my first post/question. I think I
need be yet more specific. I am out of memory on my mp7 and can't save
anything at this point....I can't compact data etc etc...If I
initialize and wipe the machine clear will I then be back to 100%
memory? If not, exactly what must I do. Yes I will back up everything
that is worthy.

I take it that you have filled up the memory with song and seq data?
Not sure if presets actually use a lot as there their anyway regardless
of settings if you know what i mean.
Dont know if im right about that?
Sounds like you stuck so as you cant expand the memory something will
have to go..
If you initialize the unit i dont think you get back to 100% free,
something like 72% as the system use's some of that space (seems a bit
crazy that..)
Thats the way it is ;o)
