E-MU's answer. The P2500 ROM will be released as a XL/MP-7 ROM within
the next three months. Packaging and Ramping up our inventory prevent us
from releasing it any sooner. We do not have name yet for this ROM,
probably POP something or another. It will not be compatible with our
single space modules. I'll update you with more info as soon as it
becomes available.

RE: [xl7] P2500 ROM

Thanks Sean for the response, but one question I have is, will the XL-7/MP-7
ROM have a blend of
sounds that comes only from the X-Lead and Mo-Phatt ROMs? If so, thats not
what I was expecting.
The 2500 has a much larger variety of sounds that seem to include a little
of all the E-MU sound
modules and the XL-7/MP-7. I know that there's alot of sounds from the
Proteus 2000 and the Planet
Earth modules. Thats what I was referring to. It would be nice to have a
single ROM that has sounds
from both the XL-7 & MP-7 but I was hoping it would be include a much wider
variety.
